• Before the operation it is necessary to meet the surgeon in a personal consultation where the scope of operation will be set.

• Depending on the scope of operation it is carried out in local or general anaesthesia.

• In the local anaesthesia only the soft (cartilage) nose parts (nose tip) are operated on.   

• The patient can leave home on the same day that the operation takes place. 

• In the general anaesthesia the plastics of the cartilage as well as the bone part of the nose is carried out.

• After the operation the patient stays one day in the hospital under a nurse's care.  

• During 7-14 days following the operation a plaster dressing must be carried.
